A horse race is held every year at Carnival in a village in Sardinia. Two boys train in secret, joined by a mysterious friend, and a girl determined to know the truth, in a magical country where, during the long winter nights, you can sometimes feel going through the silent streets the soft clop-clop of a ghost horse...or perhaps not.
